David Penner Architect is a Winnipeg architectural consulting firm with a diverse portfolio of cultural, commercial, institutional and residential work spanning 23 years of professional practice. The firm's principal and founder, David Penner, MAA, FRAIC, is a registered Architect in Manitoba with 28 years of experience in the design and construction industries. He remains intimately involved with all work produced by the firm.
Prior to establishing DPA, David trained at the offices of: Stechesen Katz Architects (1986-1993), Calnitsky Heshka Associates (1985), James and Rollier (1983-1984), Smith Carter Partners (1981), and the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, Engineering and Architecture Division, Government of Canada (1979-1980). David received his Master of Architecture (1985) and Bachelor of Environmental Studies (1979) from the University of Manitoba.
Along with his involvement at DPA, David Penner currently works to advance the awareness and appreciation of architecture and design in Manitoba. His other endeavours include:
